Halloween Pictures!

I don't know about you but after having a school party on Thursday and then having lunch with Dad on Friday and going trick or treating at his work...By the time it was time to trick or treat for really the kids were so excited they could hardly stand it!

So Zach was the Owl Battle Beast action figure from the 80's that looks like this...

And because every action figure needs a sidekick (AKA Mom didn't want to have to come up with something else...) Sam Is Zach's little side kick.



Daddy took them trick or treating in the rain and I stayed home to hand out glow sticks to our little trick or treating friends. They went with some friends for a while and then came home, emptied their loot and went out to finish up our street! I think they got enough candy don't you?




Then we have a tradition that started a couple of years ago. We have the kids count their candy and then give 10 % of it to the Bishop for his candy jar he keeps in his office for the kids. It helps the kids experience giving up something that they really like and helps them understand the principle of tithing. I really think we should talk them into giving like 50 % but I don't know if that would go over so well :) Here's the kids with their candy tithing.
