Camp Out

We went on the ward camp out! It was lots of fun! It was kind of stormy and we barely got our tent up and the rain fly on before it started to pour! We had to stay in the tent until it let up! It was coming down in sheets! I didn't know if we were going to be able to stay but we did okay. The theme for the dinner was Hawaiian so we had a roasted pig and lots of salads and desserts! The kids loved it! It did rain over night but we stayed dry. I packed pancakes for Breakfast but I forgot to bring the butter or the syrup. Glad we had awesome friends share with us! The blueberry pancakes wouldn't have tasted the same!


After breakfast I helped clean stuff up and the boys went down to the lake. Zach was soaked! He had fun though. We used dad's slings to fling rocks into the lake. Every once in a while we'd see a fish leap out of the water after a bug! The kids loved it. We'll have to plan more camping trips next summer!
