Adventures with Sam

Chapter 1

The History of the Shopping Cart Seat Belt

At first when Sam was just barely about to sit up the seat belt in shopping carts were used to basically prop him up. He could sit but would lean from side to side. The seat belt kept Sam somewhat centered.

As Sam got older the seat belt was used to help keep him from eating the yucky bars on those things! It kind of worked.

Then came the stage of just putting him in a shopping cart and not worrying about the seat belt because he would just sit there. Well today we had to say goodbye to that stage and move on to the next stage.

Buckling up. That's right. When Sam starts to stand up in the shopping cart.. Ya gotta start buckling the kid in so he doesn't hurt himself!

sounds like my kids, they think it is ok to stand up in the shopping cart. One of these days we are going to have an accident. Unfortunatly my kids scream and throw a fit if you put the belt on them.

Homemaking 101

Does anyone else feel like it's time for a refresher course on homemaking 101? Maybe we should watch a few seasons of Leave it to Beave...
