I'm sure this has never happened to you!

So, picture this. It's a nice Saturday afternoon and things are going well! You've got dinner on the stove doing it's thing and smelling nicely, you are in the kids' bedroom finishing up making a bed with everyone in there playing around. You try to push over the honey but since he's got better balance then you... you get knocked over and decide it's time to check on the dinner before things really get started :) . You walk into the kitchen and instantly you smell something not very pretty... you run to the stove and there it is confirmed. You have burnt dinner. Yes, tonight you are not the culinary wizard that you normally are. It's almost like a death has occurred. You were so looking forward to tasting the delicious dinner not to mention the blow to your ego about being a fantastic cook! So on to plan B. You pull out Grandma's meatballs from the freezer and cook some rice. Ta...da.... You have successfully saved dinner! Thank goodness for grandma's meatballs!

Hey, that sounds like what I make for dinner every night!! By the way, the reason I never told you that I have a blog is because it is in Russian. I figured it would be kind of difficult to read.

Homemaking 101

Does anyone else feel like it's time for a refresher course on homemaking 101? Maybe we should watch a few seasons of Leave it to Beave...
